Update October 2025 Finally our boiler packed up, Ash fit us a brand new Baxi Boiler. Ash's workmanship is second to none. Very neat install (All new pipework neat & tidy).He explained everything in detail every step of the way. His Communication is excellent. Once you get a quote he sticks to it (i.e once he starts there are no hidden extras.) Old Review This Gentleman (Ash) is amazing, he came on time as promised in really short notice (On the Same Day). He quickly found the problem, fixed the issue and Serviced our boiler. We would definitely recommend him to anyone, he is very polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Wow – amazing and thoughtful service. I got an engineer in who suggested I get a new boiler - it would likely costs £1,500+ including fitting. I called Unique Gas, and they sent out their own engineer, a well-mannered gentleman called Ash. He popped along the same day to offer a second opinion and boy am I glad I did! Ash suggested that if the PCB were replaced that should resolve issues. We moved forward and I paid £183 for the PCB (with an official receipt from plumbing city) and despite making two visits he charged me less than £100, and most importantly, hey presto, the heating and hot water now work perfectly again!! He could have made much more money, and I respect honesty as there is so little these days. I would recommend him 100% - very reasonable pricing, excellent knowledge, service and ethics - how can you go wrong!!

Ash is a lovely bloke, came on good Friday to service my boiler and the filling link was broken. We managed to get one the day after and he came and fitted it with no problems. Did a very thorough job and I will be using him again next year.

Firstly Ash is one of the most genuinely nice people you could meet,fitted 4 radiators & a toilet for me,from start to finish he was professional & really wanted me happy with the job,left no mess & the job was very neat,was a tricky job as floorboards where very old & original so I wanted minimal damage to them,he really  took his time to ensure this. I contacted a few gas engineers and Unique Gas provided me with the most competitive quote and they were also the first company to reply. Communication was easy and quick. Had trouble finding a registered gas engineer to install my cooker. Until I stumbled across this gentleman on the Internet. I phoned him and within a few hours I had my cooker safely installed.
